Dylan went skating for the very first time on Sunday and had a great time…he caught on faster than I expected! It is inspiring to see how fast they learn, and when they fall down, they just get right back up and keep trying. Something we seem to lose in adulthood. Their tenacity and resillience is a wonderful thing. And it’s pretty cute to see them toddle along on the skates.

  1. fun!! it kind of looks like dylan has been impaled by a pylon though. poor guy. he could maybe use a doctor.

It was so fun to go out trick-or-treating again – the little ones were just bursting with excitement and joy. It’s infectious. Dylan had so much fun, and he looked pretty cute in his little fireman’s uniform…but not as cute as Aaron trying to pass himself off as a doctor.

Aaron, Julie and I went to see U2 last night, with Black Eyed Peas as the opening act! The concert was amazing, of course, and the huge sea of people was a pretty awesome sight. 55,000 people were there, and when that many people sing together, it sounds pretty awesome. Bill Gates was also in the house…apparently it was his birthday. Bono got the crowd to sing happy birthday to him…imagine how cool that would be. I was still in a bit of a haze of painkillers, but it was a good time.

  1. It was a really fun concert! Those are great shots and sort of show how insanely huge the stage was. It is truly an amazing feeling to be singing legendary U2 songs with 55,000 other people. It’s a sound that defies description.

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve updated…but now I’m starting to feel better and come out of the fog. Here is a shot of Julie’s newly painted house…mum still painting :D I love the new colours Jules.

  3. Nice picture of my new house! :) I like the colors too but we definitely need something on that big green wall. Jess did a great job with the rock on the columns and mummy did an excellent job painting – thanks mummy!
